Appliance Service Technician

Job Type: Full-time with paid Holidays

We are seeking an Appliance Service Technician with a great attitude and the ability to help customers with their appliance repairs. At Boerner’s Appliance we provide competitive pay and training in a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented setting. As a repair technician, you will enjoy working independently as a representative of a leading appliance sales and service provider.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

  • Experience in appliance service is preferred but not required. Technician will receive on job-site training.
  • Must be organized and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service.
  • Provide timely and quality repairs of customers’ products.
  • Install and troubleshoot washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and other large appliances for customers.
  • Repair or replace any defective components found in appliances.
  • Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures to ensure quality workmanship
  • Ability to use a computer for parts inquiries, ordering, bill preparation, collect payments, repair estimates, and inventory control.
  • Assist in keeping the parts department organized and stocked.
  • Keep a clean and organized service department.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
